Movies Premier

A premier is an invite-only red carpet event featuring cast, film-makers, invited press and not open to the public. A premier or première is the debut (first public presentation) of a play, film, dance, or musical composition. A work will often have many premières: a world première (the first time it is shown anywhere in the world) and its first presentation in each country.

The premiere status of your film is an important factor; however, due to these challenging times, we will be more flexible on premiere status for SXSW 2021. All things being equal, the premiere will get the slot, but it’s not absolute. Movies Premier depends on the film and depends on the star. It also depends if the film is showing in any film festivals or any other occassion.
